The Happy Little Sunflower"


Once upon a time, in a garden so neat, Lived a sunflower, so cheerful and sweet. With petals of gold and a face so bright, She smiled at the sun from morning 'til night.

She stretched up high, oh, she loved to grow tall, Reaching for sunlight, the tallest of all. With leaves like arms, she gave a hug so wide, To the bees and butterflies that came to her side.

"Hello, little creatures," she would softly sing, "Come dance around me, let your joy take wing!" She'd sway in the breeze, her laughter so clear, Spreading happiness to all creatures near.

Through sunny days and even when clouds would loom, She'd brighten the garden, dispelling all gloom. "The secret," she'd whisper to all who would hear, "Is to spread love and joy, far and near."

So in the garden, this sunflower so bold, Taught everyone, both young and old, To smile like the sun and spread delight, To be a happy sunflower, shining so bright.
